I'm not sure if any of you will be interested in this but here goes!

I've taken the cover off and washed down the TR6 today, I've been working on it for over 4 years and it's nearly done but I've lost my mojo with it so if anyone fancies finishing it please get in touch, details below of what is basically a "new" TR6

I've been slowly working on this car for over 4 years, I first came across it when a mate of mine bought it assembled but held together with screws and pop rivits but with all new panels, I introduced him to my body guy who stripped it down and properly welded it all up then painted it, he had it two years!, It then sat in my mates garage untouched for another two years so I bought it.
From what I can see in the papers I have its been off the road since the late 70's early 80's.

It has been fully (and I mean fully) rebuilt, all of the panels are new with invoices to support, it has new inner wings x 4 new outer wings x 4 floors, cills, door skins, boot lid, bonnet etc etc, my body guy is pedantic, the door gaps for a TR are absolutly amazing, the body work is arrow straight, painted in period correct Damson - I have added a Skinner interior in leather with MX5 seats and burgundy carpets, all gauges have been rebuilt, new dashboard, new brakes, brand new minilite style wheels and new quality tyres.

The engine has been full rebuilt and is running but needs final tuning etc, all of the injection gear is new from Neil Ferguson, stainless exhaust is new and it's running a Bosch fuel pump, obviously running an "A" type O/ D gearbox which was working fine on a short drive around the village. It has a new mohair hood and hood cover.

You will note that I use the word "NEW" throughout this advert, simply that's because almost all of this TR6 is brand new, I think it's the closest thing you will ever get to a new TR6, come and see for yourself I'm in Nottingham and the kettle is always on. Regarding price .............. it's a lot less than I have in it and nowhere near what it would cost you to build it today, so I won't be accepting any daft offers. Everything is with it to complete it, it requires time not money to finish and enjoy.
