1975 Suzuki GT 750

I looked for some time to find an original GT750 and eventually found this one. It was a north American import and came with original US title and two keys which fitted all the original locks. It had its tool kit and original paint and even the original decals still in situ. Showing only 14k miles the more I looked the more I liked with original bolts, rims and even the spokes had the original plating.
The bike is now UK registered historic and comes with V5, original US title and dating certificate from the VJ MC.
The bike has been sympathetically restored keeping its original patina. But by the same token no expense has been spared in the recommissioning with new water pump, drive gear, hoses, electronic ignition, fuel system cleaned, new fuel tap, carburettors rebuilt, new diaphragms, new intake rubbers, new air box rubbers, filters, oil pump and check valves reconditioned, new clutch, plus starter clutch,
Front forks were replaced with new seals and headstock bearings replaced with upgraded taper rollers. Front brakes were reconditioned with new master cylinder and caliper seals and hoses. New chain, sprockets and seals. New Michelin classic tyres, tubes, rim tapes and wheel bearings. New seat foam, cover and strap and some parts were re-chromed.

This is not concourse, but its a lovely example keeping the original patina with a squeaky clean tank.

It stops starts and rides superbly Ive been on several long runs and every thing works as it should its a joy to ride and will put a smile on your face. With the original pipes its the sound of the 70s.
