‘Randy’ as she’s called has been our day van. Much loved by all our family and will be sorely missed.
Randy was imported around 2010 and has had a PD engine fitted from a 2003 Passat which had 80000 miles on so I’m told. I’ve always had the engine serviced and it has never let us down. Serviced November 2024, all new pipes fitted to turbo, fuel filter, earth strap added.
In 2021 I had her resprayed windows out with all rubbers replaced, new bumpers and plastic trims. Wheels refurbished at the same time.
Last winter I replaced the battery and on last years service (November 2022) replaced the cambelt and seals, probably done 200 miles since.
Rear boot sponge/ bed has been recovered in the westfalia fabric to match the interior and sourced from Germany.
We’ve only spent one night away in her, mainly used as day van.
Has Eberspacher factory fitted heater that works, i've never used it never had the need, could probably do with a service.
Comes with full waterproof cover, original window covers/ curtains and thermal front screen cover, original bunk/ hammock
Only selling as we've bought a t6 and wont be used, sorry to see this one go plenty of memories have been made, time to move on to let someone else use and enjoy
