BSA A65 Spitfire Special Mk4 - 1967 / 68
Stunning restoration presented by Legacy Motorcycles, Birmingham.
Originally built and despatched to the states in late 1967 as a 1968 season model.
This Spitfire Mk4 Special has some very nice details including;
New Aluminium petrol tank, and new fibreglass side panels - both subject of show standard paint work;
Hand gold coachline on the petrol tank, along with new petrol tank & side panel transfers, all underneath the machine polished lacquer.
Cylinder Re-bore & new pistons +0. 20.
Reconditioned cylinder head with new valves & guides.
Reconditioned speedo & tacho.
New wiring loom, battery, lights, cables etc
New chrome mudguards & cycle parts.
Borrani valanced alloy rims, stainless spokes, Avon roadrider Mk2 tyres.
190mm front brake.
