The engine has been fully rebuilt, new main bearings, bronze valve guides and valves, primary chain etc. Bores and pistons micrometered and good so were scrubbed spotless and reused. A reconditioned concentric AMAL carb and fitted with a "siamese" exhaust, it starts easily and sounds great. The oil tank and sump filters cleaned, fresh oil all round so it’s all and ready to go.
The gearbox has been rebuilt, new bushes, bearings and seals
The forks have been reconditioned, new wheel rims and spokes (stainless), including new tyres and tubes front and back.
New seat, handlebars and cables etc including a new Lucas wiring loom, 12 volt solid state regulator and a quality battery fitted.
The photos don't do it justice, the paintwork is absolutely fantastic, mudguards and tank finished in Triumph “pacific” blue.
You will struggle to find a nicer bike than this, cheaper ones are plentiful, but as you know (or learn), they will need work and you will end up spending more. No expense has been spared on this bike.
If the siamese pipe isn't for you, I do have a set of good quality standard down pipes and silencers that could be swapped, happy to discuss.
