1955 BSA Goldstar DB32.
12th DB32 off the production line so probably the earliest surviving DB32.

She's on the road , riding like a dream and ready to go for the summer.
I bought it in around 2018 in bits minus an engine and most of its clubman bits, so I decide to build it as a sit up and beg scrambler style with a big bore iron engine.
Ground up rebuild with top quality bearings etc not cheapo shit like most do, I rebuild Jags for a living so I don't do cheap .
ENGINE / GEARBOX :
Late spec Thick flange B31 cases, late type big fin B31 barrel/ head.
Rebuilt B31 crank(new big end pin) by RTN Racing, was lightened then with the Harris piston.
Polished con rod.
LF Harris T140 piston (pocketed for the b31 valve angle)
New G&S nitride race valves.
New iron guides
Re-cut valve seats.
Goldstar scrambles cams from Pearson.
Rebuilt oil pump.
Rebuilt breather.
New Amal 626 mk1 concentric
Rebuilt LUCAS RACING magneto (TJ Magnetos)
Starts 1st / 2nd kick easily!
Sounds great!!
Rebuilt gearbox.
Bob Newby dry clutch and belt drive.

BIKE:
Genuine Goldstar DB32 clubman rolling chassis, checked out with Ian Jackson at the GSOC with certificates.
All clubman frame lugs are still intact , nothing has been cut off etc.
New Alloy rims with stainless spokes. 21" front 18" rear.
8" finned Goldie front brake, crinkle rear.
New tyres/ tubes.
Alloy mudguards and stays.
