1966 MG Midget

This MG Midget Mk2 finished in British Racing Green was first registered 23rd September 1966 and being nearly 60 years old is both Road Tax and MOT exempt. It has the 1098cc, 4 speed gearbox and the desirable knock on wire wheels. It has an excellent condition pack away (in the boot) soft top convertible roof. The history file is full of old invoices and old MOT's going back to1993. The file shows the car has done only 6000 miles in the last 25 years and that in the last 2000 miles it has been serviced and had a new exhaust, fuel tank, track rod ends, new carbs, battery, wheel bearings, dynamo, coil, electronic ignition, water pump, master and slave cylinders, brake pads, kingpins, fuel pump, shock absorbers, electric cooling fan, inner tubes and more. The interior is in Back with white piping and black carpets with rubber overmats. A pair of BMC seat belts are fitted and it has a heater. The boot area is tidy and houses the spare wheel, tools and a few spares. The engine bay is very good and features an alloy rocker cover. Mechanically the engine is very good, shows great oil pressure and runs very well through the 4 speed gearbox.
