This stunning example has only covered 40, 000 miles and has recently passed its MOT test with zero advisories. The subtle colour combination enhances its sleek lines, and thanks to the upgrades fitted to S models it develops true supercar performance.
Currently under preparation, full details on this outstanding example will be added shortly.

What is there to say about the Porsche 911 that hasn't already been said countless times over the past 5 decades?
The benchmark sports/ supercar - presented here in the favourable facelift 997. 2 guise - is the perfect all rounder.
When Porsche facelifted the 997 in 2008 the look remained reassuringly familiar, however under the skin was a very different story. The introduction of direct injection to 997. 2 models brought with it better fuel economy, lower emissions and greater performance. The only body panel carried over was the roof, and allegedly a whopping 80% of the car is different.
To name but a few of the changes:
* New engine with direct fuel injection. The engine is mounted 0. 4 inches (10 mm) lower in the tail section
* Revised suspension system
* Revised front bumper with larger air intakes
* Headlamps with LED daytime running lights and newly optional dual HID projectors
* Revised rear bumper with a new LED tail light design
* Enlarged exterior mirrors
* Redesigned Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE)
* Redesigned PCM system with touch-screen and optional hard-drive navigation and Bluetooth.
* New Porsche PDK transmission replacing the optional Tiptronic S.

While the regular 911 Carrera made do with what is, in essence a revised version of the 3. 6 litre engine from the previous 996 generation 911, the Carrera S benefits from an all-new, larger 3. 8 litre engine, and when we say new we mean it - it's said not one single component was reused. This larger flat-6 produces over 30bhp more than the regular Carrera, taking power to a heady 385bhp. 0-60mph passes in just 4. 3 seconds for PDK-equipped cars such as this example, and acceleration continues until
near-as-makes-no-difference 190mph.

The Carrera S also came with a long list of standard equipment that was optional on the base Carrera. This included PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) which allowed the driver to select different modes for the suspension. It also came with 19-inch wheels, 911 Turbo brakes, sports exhaust, bi-Xenon headlights, and aluminium-finished instruments.
Be under no illusion; this is one seriously impressive car.
