This car was originally in South Africa where in 2004 following a full body, nut and bolt restoration with 65000 miles on the clock, the South African owner repatriated the car to the UK where he now lives. Since arriving in the UK, the car had covered 600 miles with 200 of those in 2018 at the Welsh MG Rally and was then stored until early April 2022 when we purchased it.
A major service was carried out over a couple of months. Engine, gearbox, differential oils changed, brakes and beautiful fully
reconditioned MG SU H4 Twin carburettors fitted and fully tuned, amongst many other smaller improvements.
A comprehensive file of the History of the earlier life of the car and the major restoration comes with the car as well as the more recent improvements and services and photographs thereof. We also purchased a few MG manuals for reference.
It is such a beautiful little car, lovely interior, and drives beautifully.
