Lancia Aurelia B21
This car has over the past 10 years been completely rebuilt. It was repainted in its original green colour, and the interior redone in the correct wool cloth. Following engine trouble I decided to rebuilt a stronger and slightly more powerfull B12 engine to fit the car. This engine is equipped with a more modern oil filter, vandervell bearing shells and stronger conrods than the original 2 litre engine. I have an original B21 engine to go with the car if required. Car runs and drives very well and will travel any distance. Body, interior and mechanically in very good condition.
this car was for me the ultimate Aurelia berlina, having the good looks of the early aurelia's, with the very nice teardrop headlights, while now equiped with the powerfull and reliable later engine.
Currently on Belgian registration documents, but it was registered in the UK earlier and will be very easily re-registered there.
This car was delivered new in Belgium, in the Liege area. It was only used sparingly, and went into long term storage with only around 70. 000 km's on the clock. The car was then sold to a collector in the UK, who had the body and interior restored. Shortly after, I brought the car back to Belgium, where early in my ownership it developed an engine problem. (dropped valve) I then had a B12 engine rebuild, which is now in the car. The engine was completely rebuild, without compromises to quality. Car now drives and handles very well.
Reason for sale is that i have drifted off into prewar Lancia cars, and I just use the Aurelia too little, which is a shame as it is a brilliant car!
