Up for very reluctant sale is my beautiful UK registered 1969 Corvette Stingray. It was imported from Florida in 2016 by UK Corvette specialists EMC Performance, who acquired it from the second owner, who had owned it since 1977. EMC undertook a four year, body off restoration of the car from 2016 to 2020 and I acquired the car from them in December 2020.

It is fitted with a small block 350cu engine and a four speed manual gearbox. The odometer currently reads 29, 638 miles, which is 526 more miles than when I bought it in January 2021.

The car is finished in fathom green with a medium saddle interior, a combination which I believe Chevrolet only offered in 1969. It is such an elegant and understated colour combination, which in my opinion suits the the car incredibly well.

EMC’s restoration was worthy of its four year timeline, with just about every single part on the car being replaced, I have listed below verbatim the works undertaken by them which they listed in their original advertisement.

Works Undertaken by EMC Performance (2016-2020) as stated in their sales listing in Car and Classic in 2020.

I have long loved the lines of the C3, being first drawn to the model when a tv show called the Magician came out in the 1970's, which featured a 1974 C3 in white and I just fell in love with the design right then... I think I was also quite keen on magic at the time too !

The car is in excellent condition and needs nothing doing to it, other than giving it some use, which sadly I don't have much time for.

It comes with an up to date V5 and is both MOT and Tax exempt.

It is currently located in Alicante, Spain but can be easily transported back to the UK or elsewhere in Europe.

I have deliberately priced it to sell, so please do not expect any huge movement in the price.

The photographs were taken by leading automotive photographer Tim Scott of Fluid Images in 2021 at Duke of London’s headquarters, and other than a little fresh dust under the dust cover, the car looks and drives exactly the same as it did then.

Any questions, please contact me and I will be delighted to answer them.

Many thanks for looking.
