1960 Ford F100 Short Bed Rat Truck £11k
This thing might not be the prettiest, but it is sorted in all the right places.
292 Ford Y Block V8 with 3 on the floor manual transmission with vintage Hurst shifter.
The engine is an absolute peach, having undergone a recon including camshaft, valves, guides etc It has a high pressure oil pump, electroninc ignition, re-cored radiator and a Holley 4 barrel carb. It had a new 3 part clutch less than 300 miles ago. Brand new battery.
It has power steering with a nice detachable GT steering wheel fitted, and adjustable air shocks to the rear.
Front disc brake conversion, stainless brake lines and line lock for wasting tyres and a stainless exhaust system with valves that you can open to make it straight through to wake the neighbours.
The bed is solid and I have welded up some holes that were in it. The cab itself is what makes it a rat. It is full of filler, but water tight having just been rattle canned matt black.
Full new interior. Mechanically great, very comfortable manual V8.
