Owned since 2007, unrestored and very clean, used regularly until last year by my wife for popping to the shops. Starts and rides well although I started and rode it yesterday and it was a little hesitant on partial throttle but this did improve, my inclination is that it’s the old fuel.
The speedo doesn’t work and never has due to a broken speedo drive at the wheel, I have tried David Silver spares but they are not available and it is a common fault on the PC50.
Fitted with a Rickman top box with key. All lights work and it has been reliable during ownership, always stored in a garage and summer use only. There are areas of surface rust on the frame and exhaust and the rims/ spokes are slightly pitted and dull, please see photos. I have an original owners handbook and Haynes manual and fitted with its original number plate and plastic wing mirror!
Tax and MOT exempt and registered as an historic vehicle it will work perfectly as it is or it’s a good base for fettling if that is what you are looking for.
Sensible offers considered. This will make a fantastic little bike and will also continue to increase in value I am sure, only selling as it hasn’t been used for a year and needs a new home.
