It is believed the bike had been an ex-WW2 dispatch riders bike.
The bike is being sold as an unfinished project, due to personal circumstances.
The engine has been rebuilt and started second kick after approx. 50 years of sitting idle.
There has already been a considerable amount of parts purchased and work carried out, some of which is as follows:
Shot blasted Frame, Petrol Tank, Oil Tank, Wheels, Mudguards.
Vapour blasted engine parts
Painted Frame, Forks, Oil Tank & Wheels
Fitted new tyres, tubes and spoke bands
Installed new Double Sealed Wheel Bearings
Fitted new Friction Disks to Steering Damper & Forks
Engine completely dismantled and rebuilt
Fitted New Crankshaft Main Bearings (3 x Double Row Ball)
Installed new Set of Piston Rings (+40).
Fitted new Cylinder Head Studs & Nuts
Installed Engine Oil Feed Shut Off Valve to prevent oil draining into crank case
Reconditioned the Magneto
Purchased and fitted new Amal Carburettor
Installed new Gearbox Bearings
