Description
I have owned this car for seven years. When I bought it, it had a full respray and a new hood as well as a new timing chain and various steering and suspension bushes. In the past seven years I have kept it garaged, only using it from May to October for only about 500 miles per year and have replaced items such as, a prop shaft, fuel pump, ignition coil and front brake calipers. Before I bought it, the car had been unused and in dry storage for eleven years which explains the low mileage of 42, 000 miles, and the application of "Tuff Kote Dinol" rustproofing presumably when new explains the good all round condition of the car. One of the reasons I bought an Alpha Romeo Spider was because of the large boot which easily takes my golf clubs and trolley as trips to the golf club have been my main use since retirement. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this car although it doesn't have power steering or electric windows or other modern driving aids, it is reminiscent of real driving from a classic era where you can feel fully involved in the process of driving.
