Alfa Red “special” 289A paint (additional cost new) and fitted from new with optional 18 inch “horseshoe” wheels.
Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres all round (good tread) in correct original size
Black/ grey leather interior in good condition
Fitted with Alfa luxury deep-pile floor mats

In case you were wondering about the overly long model name:-
SV= SkyView – optional electric retractable internal blind for the glass panoramic roof.
SkyView is not the panoramic roof (as stated in another ad for this type of car). All Breras have the glass pano roof, but some models (eg. V6S (Prodrive) do not have the the retractable blind, just a closed headliner, so no "SkyView".
JTS= Jet Thrust Stoichiometric – Alfa’s improvements to the base GM V6. Twin Phaser (inlet & exhaust) variable valve timing, direct injection, 11. 25:1 compression, lean burn below 1500rpm.
JTS is not a Limited Edition (as stated in some adverts).
Q4= Alfa’s permanent 4WD system with Torsen centre diff. Rear drive biased with torque vectoring

Wheels refurbed at 40, 688 miles
Front subframe replaced at 37, 880 miles (and still in good condition)
Appears both rear springs replaced after previous Mot advisory

In my ownership (approx. 3 yrs), the car has mainly been in storage.
However, in that time there has been a gradual scheme of improvement.
Has been fitted with:-
New foglights
New badges all round, including wheel centre badges and Giugiaro front wing badges (all genuine Alfa). Only badge not changed was the “Brera” boot badge (still in good condition)
Updated version of the oil temperature sensor, so now has a working gauge (rare)
New fuel pump
Updated multifunction display (Alfa aftermarket) with additional screens, features and info.
After the period in storage the car has had a recent re-commissioning service including usual oil and filter change, air filter, cabin filter, antifreeze test (good to -35C) and brake fluid flush and change.

Car has 2 keys
Full book pack (incl. service book) in original Alfa wallet
Jack and full original toolkit (in holder) and spacesaver spare wheel/ tyre
Alfa locking wheel nuts and key
Original sales invoice
Original sales brochure
Service invoice from 1st owner
Some early invoices and majority of invoices 2014 – 2020 from the 2nd owner
All parts invoices from present owner.
Some old MOTs from 2nd owner

Car is surprisingly practical in terms of boot space, and with the rear seats folded down (see pics), there is loads of space for luggage etc.

The car is in overall good condition.
MOT advisories from a previous MOT have all been addressed, either by the previous owner or by myself.
Underside of the car is generally good (better than most)
Air con works, oil temp gauge works
Overall the car is very presentable, however, the car appears to have had a poor quality partial respray in the past and some upper surfaces have signs of micro-blistering in the paint. It is possible that paint correction may improve it.
Electric seat recline on both front seats is faulty. May be due to “sticky” switches. Both electric seat reclines were working when I purchased the car.
On the driver’s side, the seat back can still be reclined manually.
The plastic undertray for engine/ gearbox has been removed as Brera/ 159 owners have found it traps water between it and the front subframe causing corrosion. Also makes oil changes and front-end maintenance much easier.

When viewing the photo "Gallery", some photos may appear cropped. If you click on an individual photo, it will appear full-size, then you can scan through all the photos full-size by using the left/ right arrows at the side of the screen.

Price reflects the minor faults.
Not interested in swaps. 1st owner from new was a Doctor (have the original purchase invoice) and the first service in his ownership was at 11, 151 miles.
It is believed that the 2nd lady owner purchased the car at 18 months old from Veloces of London (premium Alfa dealer – still had their plates on the car when I purchased). She had the car for 13+ yrs and had it serviced yearly (apart from 2014) regardless of mileage. From the service history, the maximum service interval in her ownership was 6, 771miles and in later years, service intervals were much lower, often under 2000 miles and the lowest only 207 miles.
These regular low mileage service intervals bode well for the longevity of the engine – particularly the timing chains.
I have owned the car for approx. 3 years and after coming out of storage, have added a recommissioning service, at short service interval since the previous one, adding to consistent short service intervals.
