Genuine CANADIAN 1970 Chevelle SS. Do not mistake this for a replica. This is not a 68/ 69/ 71/ 72 Chevelle, this is the rear deal documented SS 1970. Please don't message me saying you can get a 68 small block that is recently restored for the same price.
Car was frame off restored 20 years ago but is now showing its age.
Originally a 396 SS (with supplying documentation from George Zapora - GM of Canada) with TH400. It was originally astro blue with a dark blue vinyl roof, blue interior with bench seat... a very rare combo.
Now black interior with period correct buckets and original new vinyl supplied.
The paint is tired and could do with a refresh but does look nice when cleaned up and is presentable. The car has NO rust and is very solid.
Engine is a 454 bored to a 460, Merlin world heads, scat crank/ rods etc. Holly carb.
I have owned this for 20 years and will be very sad to see it go, but I'd like to see it used and enjoyed - I've done less than 200 miles in 10 years.
