JAGUAR XJS 4. 0 5 Speed Manual, Rust free body and underside, debatable if its ever been welded, looks to have been very well protected from new. I have spent £2000 on it within the last six months, including new steering rack, new rear shocks, ARB links and bushes, radius arms and a very nice stainless steel exhaust. Absolutely wonderful to drive, holds the road extremely well, and coupled with the 5 speed box and raspy exhaust it sounds and drives like a 60s sports car.
Relatively high mileage so things are getting a little tired, diff leaking, puff of blue smoke on start up so stem seals require renewal at some point but no drama as it is. No pesky rust coming through on the brooklands green paint work but signs of age and a few anomalies in the paint itself . Absolute heartbreaker to sell such a enigmatic car but I have 5 other Jags so something has to give. MOT until August 2024, Fully Stamped Service History up to 104, 000 miles.
