Recent clear HPI check. ‘Full air’ button working a great feeling in the sunshine. History records show 3 interesting personal number plates applied during lifetime. London ULEZ compliant
Lovely to drive and receives a lot of positive comments re colour and model when out and about. Passengers like the great vision. People often stop, even going out of there way, to talk and ask about the car. Excellent support through specialist group owners clubs and garages.
Even though our new car is here now, mileage of ~68, 400 will go up slightly as still enjoy using when the sun is out. If you’ve ever had the itch for one of these, then this sensibly priced option could be your moment.
Presents very well and has some superficial scratches and marks to the exterior paintwork, is comfortable has no unusual noises. On the interior some of the plastic is sticky, no warning lights or error codes.
Owners wallet and manual, 2 door keys and remote fob, all doors also lock on the interior immobiliser switch.  Viewings and drive encouraged and welcome.
Some Avantime data worth remembering: -
Renault's 2+2 Coupe GT MPV concept wowed the crowds as well as the motoring press when revealed as a styling exercise at the Paris Motor Show in 1998. The concept was boldly taken into production largely unchanged. With Avantime design translating to 'ahead of time' was packed full of luxuries, safety features and advanced engineering. Highlights included unique double-hinged 'kinematic' pillarless doors allowing easy access to the front and rear seats, the world's largest opening glass sunroof at the time featuring strengthened heat-reflecting tinted glass, theatre seating and a 'grand air' button which simultaneously opens all pillarless windows and sunroof at the press of one switch. BBC's Top Gear positioned the Renault Avantime at 'Sub Zero' on the 'Cool Wall' stating it was cooler even than the Aston Martin Vanquish and ‘the coolest car money can buy’.

Renault’s design chief from 1991 to 2007, Patrick Le Quément, was known for breaking the mould. At Renault, he presided over many car design appealing to a conventional market.
The Avantime, however, had a futuristic approach and based on the third-generation Espace MPV floor pan. It was a last of Renault’s relationship with coachbuilders Matra, who had built the Espace since 1984.
The Avantime sold in low numbers, and commendable for its form over function. Built only for 18 months or so, a total of just 452 RHD Avantimes were sold in the UK, with the vast majority registered to Renault UK itself upon delivery from Matra.
Approximately half were in this 2. 0-litre turbo guise.
