312 big block V8 with manual 3 speed column change.
Imported June 2023 UK registered and on the road July 23
Had an engine and front end rebuild before import and this is evident in the easy way the car starts every time and drives wonderfully
The information that came with the car indicated that the following had been done;
Engine rebuild
New clutch
New PS control valve and cylinder
Front end alignment tightened and set
New brakes
New shocks
New gas tank
Rebuilt radiator
New headliner
New carpet
New trunk liner
New twin exhaust system (sounds beautiful)
plus a number of remedial cosmetic and material repairs and improvements
All of this just prior to purchase in late '22
Also Comes with a boot full of original spares and some new parts, a file of receipts from the US as well as the original replaced and new parts as mentioned (Air filter housing, full drum brake set etc)
Very clean and straight. Interior is original and aged but good condition (as can be seen in the pics) Clean with the new carpet, accompanying floor mats and new headliner. Will also throw in at this price a 5 layer US storm cover (as pictured) costing over $300, breathable with fleece inner layer for extra protection.
Already a recipient of a 'Highly Commended' in a field of thousands of classics. This car is driven on a semi regular basis to keep all things moving. It is a 'Drivers car'; not a trailer queen. This car has never disappointed and starts first time every time. Running on a twin exhaust system the car not only looks the part but sounds just as sweet on its big block V8. This car is way above the average 50's daily, looking fantastic, driving great and with NO mechanical issues whatsoever. You will not be disappointed.
After a lot of interest its worth noting that this is a 65 year old beauty. It isnt the 'best' choice for a first ownership / experience into old american classics if youve only ever driven automatic or modern cars. But you couldnt do much better for a first if youre happy for the challenge. It requires understanding of how older mechanics work, and a much slower approach. Its a cruiser, Not a racer. Those who have already owned and driven these cars will understand this.
It is ready to drive away (or trailer if youre not feeling confident enough) and will drive Any distance. Engine, box (manual), lights, indicators etc. All work fine. Last road trip nearly 200 miles there and back in a day - didnt miss a beat.
This is a Cash (or dollar transfer) SALE . This is a lot of car for very little money being sold at less than its cost to import. You Wont find better of this standard at this price.

It is also currently under a number of 'message' offers but im only taking direct contact at this stage. Anyone who seriously wants to buy needs to call direct. Bought late '22 then Brought in from Minnesota mid 23, this was a long time coming.
Took over 6 months to broker the deal then had to wait nearly another 6 before being able to import (weather, car getting 'lost' in transit!)
Arrived mid 23 and on the road within the month.
