BSA WD B40 GR (RAF) Military Police 350cc motorcycle.
One of the first 50 machines of 135 supplied to the RAF from the BSA factory in 1967. Sent from Ashchurch in 1968 and stationed in Germany with the military registration 35-AX-63.
Matching numbers and correct Avon fairing, radio and bags etc.
One photo shows it in service in Germany and other photos are current.
Electronic ignition and all oils have been changed including forks this year.
Wing mirrors are not originals as I haven't been able to source them yet but everything else is the correct period. Colour is RAF blue/ grey and there is some pitting to chrome on the wheels but overall in VGC. You are welcome to inspect the bike before buying. Not many of these original RAF motorcycles around. Only reason for sale is that I have been offered a WW2 Triumph that I have been looking for so unfortunately one of my bikes has to go.
