2002 BMW Z3 Final Edition M-Sport Roadster registered in April 2002 is reluctantly offered for sale. I have owned it for six years-the longest I have ever owned a car but it is now time for a change. It has always been kept under cover and run on E5 petrol during my ownership. The MOT runs until August 2024.
It was ordered in an individual colour and interior specification of Aegean blue metallic (code 336) with lotus white leather upholstery (code 0226)-an unusual and attractive combination.
As a Sport Edition, it has a limited slip differential, M Sport suspension, M steering wheel and model specific velour mats. Heated and electrically operated sports seats and air conditioning complete the specification.
I have maintained the car to ensure that it is in excellent order for a 22 year old vehicle. Toyo Proxes are fitted all round and the fuel tank straps were replaced in December 2020-a common problem on the Z3.
A full service was carried out last month together with a brake fluid and spark plug change plus new brake discs and pads. The electric hood operates smoothly and I had it replaced last July at a cost of £1, 000. A bespoke Perspex wind deflector has also been fitted.
The mileage shown of a little over 73, 000 will increase as the car is in regular use .
The tonneau cover to use over the soft top when it is folded, the handbook and service book plus all keys are present.
