The iconic and timeless Morgan 4/ 4 earned the title of the longest running production vehicle in the world with a manufacturing period spanning from 1936 until 2018.
A truly outstanding car and with exceptionally low mileage offering a rare opportunity to buy a near new classic Morgan 4/ 4 which is no longer in production. This exceptional Morgan 4/ 4 is currently off the road in storage. A new MOT test can be arranged. Alternatively the buyer is welcome have their own MOT inspection and test done, the cost of which along with any work required will be paid by the vendor. All enquiries and offers welcome. During its life the 4/ 4 had been powered by engines from Coventry Climax, Standard and even Fiat but it was Ford propulsive power that most commonly found a place under the 4/ 4’s long, louvered bonnet. In some ways it was the arrival of the 1, 796cc, Zetec R engine in 1993 that finally gave the 4/ 4 an engine/ gearbox combination that could push the featherweight, hand-built car to new heights of performance, reliability, ease of maintenance and dynamics.
