Transporter 1958 Yr, T1 "splitty", listed as box van on v5. It's black with cerise front and doors. Side stripes. It's very solid. It's petrol with a 914 engine, converted to upright, bored to 2000cc. It has dual carbs and a csp python exhaust. Pertronix ignition. New clutch and flywheel connected to type 4 gearbox. New rods underneath. Gearbox checked and engine rewired and new fuel lines. Inside is, a rock and roll bed, a cupboard which houses gas to run the heating for camping. There is a TV and dvd. The interior is covered at sides and ceiling with porsche material and the bench is real Mercedes leather. There's various dials showing fuel etc. Oil pressure dial not working. There is no gas bottle in there at present. Cps wheels staggered. Rear tyres may need changing soon. No key for side and rear doors. The bus runs sweet. Can set off to Cornwall tomorrow!I think pictures show this bus gets lots of attention and she has the small back window and tiny light at rear, that do flash red for indication. There are the semaphores there too. Easy to set up. Also there is a stalk for cruise control. I have never tested it.
