A rare opportunity to buy a low mileage (7000 miles), low owner genuine UK Suzuki X7 mk1 first registered August 1978. I purchased this bike about 7 years ago from the 3rd owner, it had been stored for sometime but was completely original and unmodified. I completely dismantled, cleaned, and renovated using as many of the original parts as possible. About 90% of what you see here including every nut and bolt is the original bike. Any parts that were replaced were with NOS genuine parts. As a result I think that it must be one of the best examples out there.
Work carried out included a full engine strip and rebuild replacing the crank seals, gaskets and piston rings (Std bore) again with genuine Suzuki parts. Carbs stripped and cleaned. Paint is original and does have a few minor blemishes but was far too good to paint, it still has the original dealer’s sticker on it. It has the original seat with tool kit underneath still.
Wheels are original paint and finish and have just been carefully cleaned. All the wiring is intact, original and has not been modified.
Inside of the tank is like new.
Paint on the crankcase covers, head and airbox was matched exactly to the original (unfaded paint under a sticker) with the correct satin finish.
Exhausts are original and have been re-chromed.
Forks were stripped and hard chromed.
Main NOS parts were indicators, rear shocks and front mudguard.
I have completed about 250 miles on it post rebuild to check it over.
It comes with the original V5 (as well as the current one in my name), owners manual, service book etc. Some history with MOTs back to 1990 to back up the mileage. Both original keys present.

Now registered as historic but will come with a new MOT for piece of mind.
The only reason for sale is to finance the next project.
