Description
A 2wd Mk3 Hilux is not exactly a common sight anymore so what are the chances of finding one that has never been welded or had the tub removed for repairs?
This is an incredibly rare find, having been used sparingly and stored in a dry barn it has not suffered the same fate as so many Japanese cars of the era. Wonderfully preserved and unmodified it looks just amazing.
Having just one former keeper, it has recently undergone a full refresh and as you can see from the photos it does not dissapoint.
Recent works include a full respray, new light units as the old ones had become dull, new factory graphics, wheel refurbishment, new tyres, underside detailed clean and paint (components only to preserve originality of body and chassis). Interior clean and refresh.
Once the cosmetic work was complete it has had a service and mechanical check, this included new front suspension arm, brake calipers and brakes and new tyres. It was then presented for MOT which is then passed so is sold with 12 months MOT
It is a UK supplied vehicle, first registered in May 96 by Loders Toyota in Dorechester it retains all it original documentation and book packs etc.
Probably the most amazing thing about this truck is how it drives, I was genuinley astounded by how well it drives and I dont think it would be an exaggeration to say it feels faultless and I would have no hesitation in saying it would not struggle in daily use like so many modern classics do.
