Description
Originally bought by me a few years ago in standard condition but with a small diesel and 5 speed. I found the manual steering too heavy and the brakes too hard so I sold it.
That owner fitted the V8 and automatic, power steering and disc brakes all round, so I later bought it back.
I now have a change of interest, hence the wish to sell.
I've spent about £3000 on it sorting a variety of issues and it now starts stops and drives very easily.
Paint is at least 15 years old and has some microblistering and the front wings have bungs in holes where wing mirrors and extra lights have been.
The interior is good and has a heater and automatic lap seat belts.
I tow a small camper trailer to shows without any issues
The car was originally from South Africa so has always been right hand drive. It is basically a Plymouth P15 which had a different grille and badges and was marketed as a Desoto SP15. very rare to find in the UK.
The fuel gauge does not work. The original speedo does whatever it feels like, but there is a very accurate digital speedo on the top of the dash.
In the last year it has had new rear calipers and hoses and a new alternator.
I also have had fitted a gearbox inhibitor so it cannot be started in gear.
