BMW M5 E39 in Oxford Green II over Schwarz Black Leather. 2 owners from new, with the current owner since June 2003. Registered in UK - 02/ 12/ 1999. Supplied with 2 keys. Factory Equipment includes, Heated Seats, Rear Park Distance Control, Electric Memory Seats, Xenon Headlights, BMW Professional Radio, Sunroof delete option and all other usual M5 Refinements.
1/ 40 Oxford Green II RHD cars produced, 1/ 10 Oxford Green II over Schwarz interior and potentially even rarer with the sunroof delete.
Over the last year we have recommissioned this E39. The work carried out includes;
Cosmetics and Trims
- Full respray in original Oxford Green II (with exception of the roof as condition excellent)
- Sills cut out and completely replaced with repairs done to jacking points, door openings/ apertures fully painted all round
- New OEM M5 sill plates all round - All relevant stickers in the sill/ door apertures replaced with new OEM items
- New OEM bumper corner trims front and rear
- New OEM bonnet kidney grills
- New OEM 'M5' boot badge and BMW roundels
- New OEM front and rear arch liners including all necessary hardware
- New OEM sill undertrays and any other undertrays that required replacement
- New front lower 'Pork Chops' bumper corner undertrays
- Headlights completely rebuilt including new lenses and adjusters
- New front fog lights
- New interior centre mirror (known for leaking)
- New OEM windscreen rubber
- Wheels refurbished in OEM Shadow Chrome
- Retro plates made with 'BMW Soper of Lincoln'. Matching rear screen sticker also made
- All other trims which were either NLA or in a good condition were restored
Mechanical
- Full vehicle service using OEM parts. Including spark plugs, engine oil, rear differential oil, fuel filter, oil filter, air filters, power steering fluid and brake fluid change
- All three rear differential seals replaced with OEM items
- New OEM rocker cover gaskets
- New OEM fuel tank straps and bolts
- New OEM fuel return line
- Both lower rear braces and center brace powder coated with new hardware
- New OEM power steering reservoir inc cap and O-ring
- New OEM power steering return line and O-ring
- New power steering feed line
- New front and rear brake discs and pads
- Front and rear brake calipers stripped and rebuilt with new seals and new front pistons
- Hel Braided brake lines
- New front lower rear control arms
- New front and rear drop links
- Both new rear upper control arms
- New rear lower control arm links
- 4 wheel alignment
- New OEM fan belt
