Sadly thinking of selling my beautiful a team van replica .
I've spent the last 4 years building the van it started out as a clean white panel van imported from north Carolina in 2020
I started out getting it mechanically perfect and ready for a UK MOT it's had a new brakes all round new petrol tank pump and sender new radiator and hoses steering column full engine and gearbox service all new sensors leads plugs distributor cap arm coil etc even if it didn't really need it I changed it just incase .
I sourced the correct bodykit Mirrors wheels rear lights bullbar etc from all over the world . I even went as far to get the correct white letter bf Goodrich tyres .
I then had the van basically painted twice as the 1st time wasn't good enough .
After it was painted I set about doing the interior I sourced the correct phone cb radio scanner and the correct style seats . A original grey dash was sourced a rare part to find in good condition. It isn't a painted one like most.
The full inside of the van was dodo mat linned and sound proofed. then panel linned ready for the correct vinyl for the walls with carpeted floor and roof all custom made . There is also the correct cabinet made only thing I never fitted was a Sony reel to reel player as I was going fit a TV in there instead .
It has the correct style 4 captain chairs in very good condition there is also a sofa in the back that folds flat to a bed . So you can go camping in it if you wished to .
The van runs and drives very well engine runs perfectly it's later 5. 7 fuel injection over the earlyer carb engine and much more reliable
Has mot till April 2025 it's hardly done any miles since I've built it sadly due to new job I hardly have time to use it why it's for sale . It was always a dream to have the van from the a team since I was a kid it gets alot of attention was recently in practical classics magazine aswell .
I've spent thousands and thousands building it no expense was spared even down to having a set of center caps made out of alloy was nearly a £1000 alone .
