Honda SL125s 1971
1971 Honda SL125s Double cradle pipe frame, contoured seat, new exhaust , speedometer, tachometer, ignition switch, headlight switch, dimmer switch, neutral indicator, horn, engine kill switch, rear view mirrors, and tool kit.
I have a letter from Honda Uk confirming the year of manufacture and confirmation of frame number and engine number.
A Classic bike that doesn’t require an MOT or any Road Tax.
As a City and Guilds Mechanical Engineer never quite trusting other people’s work, I have taken the engine and bike apart. I’ve replaced the kick start shaft, renewed bearings, oils seals, new piston and barrel, cam chain guides, full gasket set, new old stock crank case side, clutch plates, Gell battery etc. The list goes on to over £450. 00 spent on parts in the last couple of months with invoices to prove this. On top of that it has had new tyres, seat cover, chain and sprocket set, tachometer, rear shocks, new paint , along with a £300 plus exhaust pipe .
But alas, I have only ridden it up my drive and back and she still requires running in now . Starts first kick.
So with a heavy heart the bike is up for sale,
An original Honda genuine spare parts list manual which must be worth £50. 00 alone.
The sale price should be over £3. 5K plus but I’m being realistic and will suffer a loss and sell for £2395.
