This is a very pretty car which has had heaps of time, money and attention spent on it to make it as nice as possible. I bought the car in 2019 but due to unforeseen health problems I sold it on to a fellow enthusiast in November of 2019 having only covered a few hundred miles. He then used the car sparingly entering it in to local club events and shows and I purchased it BACK in 2021 from him. Since then it has been dry stored and covered little to no mileage. It has still been serviced, MOT’d yearly and cleaned, as well as started and maintained properly. I genuinely don’t think the car has been in the rain for many many years now. I am sad to be selling the car, as it is a certain future classic in this condition and specification. But my health dictates that the car is getting little to no use, and I cant really justify it sitting any longer.
Already in fantastic condition when I purchased it, I have since had a large amount of work undertaken to ensure the car would be reliable and in as good condition as possible. This includes mechanical E46 weak spots, as well as aesthetic parts, such as various trims, badges and so on. There is extensive history documented with the car all the way back to the PDI paperwork, I also have paper copies of every MOT. Please check the MOT history online as it is genuinely impressive! The car comes with its handbooks and two original keys.
The bodywork is in fantastic order, with only one or two very minor stone chips to the front lower valance. The sills are in excellent shape with no hints of corrosion and the underbody of the car is very clean with the wheels having been taken off, the arches and underside extensively cleaned before being dry stored.
There are no scratches anywhere on the vehicle, nor rust. The paintwork is beautiful. It is genuinely an impressive car overall, not just for its age but by almost any standard. I have seen cars that are two years older in worse condition.
The carpets are mark free, with no signs of wear. The seats were removed some time ago and the carpet properly shampooed. The rear of the vehicle has almost never been sat in, and the seats, carpets, door trims, and so on contain no marks or signs of any wear.
The car comes with three sets of floor mats, a beige custom made all weather set ordered from Germany, a beige custom set of bespoke mats for everyday use and an original and unused set of beige BMW carpet mats which are essentially unused. I haven't used these in the car because they are no longer available to order from BMW and so cant be replaced. The luggage compartment has a fitted rubber protection mat. The front glove compartment has the original BMW torch present. The original toolkit is present in the luggage compartment.
The dashboard and front door cards are perfect. The passenger seat looks like new. The driver’s seat is excellent, with some light wear but honestly its very good please see the pictures. The drivers side door handle veneer has a slight crack, this is the only negative thing I can see anywhere.
The wheels have benefited from a full powder coated full refurbishment, with new genuine BMW centre caps. I have removed the wheels once every year, cleaned under the arches and inside the wheels. There are no marks on the wheels, they are like new.
The tyres are matching Dunlop Sport Maxx both front and rear with usable tread all in good condition. The brake calipers have been painted in gloss black.
I believe you will struggle to find a car this good for realistic money. When I purchased the car I wanted something interesting, rare, usable and as clean as possible. I have owned numerous 330Ci’s over the years even from when they were relatively new and this car is cleaner than all of them. Everyone who has seen the car comments on how beautiful it is and it gets comments everywhere it goes.
I think if anyone is looking for an upcoming classic than can still be used this a great car. The car has had a total of 6 owners, but please note I have owned it twice so technically 5.
