Unplanned sale of my 2005 registered (one of the last) C5 RS6 avant.
Car has had Manual 6speed gearbox conversion, has bilstein b16 coil over suspension and h&r anti-roll bars. Cat back miltek exhaust system, factory size and location airtec Intercoolers, standard size ko4 turbos but with lightened internals with light remap (required as part of the gearbox swap) car is now running an estimated 550hp approx.
Michelin pilot sports all round, very good condition black leather interior with heated front and rear seats, carbon pack and alcantera headlining & pillars. Rolling cover for boot area present as well as retracting mesh dog guard, full tool kit and tyre inflator kit present.
Factory black optics car (make it look like the highly desirable plus model), non sunroof (these are very prone to leaking), factory tv/ nav/ cd headunit and working ice cold dual climate control. I purchased the car early this year to replace a C5 S6 I had owned for some time. The previous owner who worked for McLaren carried out the manual conversion as his own project sourcing a late model A6 allroad specifically for its 6-speed manual oil cooled gearbox and suitable diff. While carrying out the conversion the engine also had preventative maintenance carried out (tensioners, followers, belts etc) as well as the slightly uprated turbos, intercoolers and suspension components.
The car had always been on my wish list especially being in the best colour and the manual gearbox really does transform the car into a different beast altogether.
The bodywork doesn’t appear to have had any paint in the past and as such it is showing its age in some areas and there are some marks which would benefit from a smart repair but the car is straight and dent free and still very presentable.
Sale is unplanned as a dream car for me has become attainable, sale is purely to finance new purchase.
