Description
The 750S is in good, well cared for condition. Owned for over 25 years it has been well maintained and improved while retaining all original components and specification.
Over the years it has had new Gilardoni pistons + barrels, new valves, full caliper overhaul, new front wheel bearings, discs re-furbished, new fork springs + dampers, professional seat restoration, Odyssey gel battery, u/ j, new exhaust crossover, re-chromed downpipes, new Lafranconi factory spec. silencers, new tyres (rear Metzeler, front Battlax), new original tank, lined before use, and paintwork by Dream Machine. The gear linkage joints were replaced, carbs overhauled and balanced with manometer, and general maintenance e. g. oils changed regularly, and low ridden miles. The bike is not concourse but in good, useable condition with good cosmetic appearance but like most things of this age it could be improved further if required. Storage is always under a cover in a dry garage. There are numerous old MOT's. The bike is now registered as historic vehicle. An MOT can be obtained if requested.
The original Italian documentation is included, also factory parts book, and service manual.
This is an absolutely lovely bike with plenty of history. Originally registered in Rome and owned by an Englishman. The original italian logbook is with the bike which was imported from Italy and registered in the UK (age related plate) in 1997. I have owned and enjoyed this rare and very good looking bike since late 1998. It never fails to disappoint, handles well while always feeling firmly planted and going where its pointed. Twin front discs perform well enough and the rear brake (twin leader) is also pretty good. Swan neck bars are fully adjustable to get the optimum riding position.
