A really beautiful 1957 Austin A35 that had been fully renovated and is in superb condition. It was completed in 2010 and had certain modifications to make the car easier to use. A 1098 engine was fitted and it had MG Midget front discs, calipers, stub axle and king pins. It had a hydraulic clutch and brake servo fitted. The bodywork is excellent and is looks just right in dark green . The car appears absolutely standard as the enhancements are fairly well hidden. There are just two minor things to do. I have a brand new indicator switch to be fitted as the old present inside indicator light stopped flashing but all indicators function properly. I am unable to fit this as I have an injury. Also there is a new door trim to be fitted as the present trim got snagged. The replacement trim has recently arrived from Wollies. There are pictures of the renovation when the body was completely stripped. This is a very brisk little car.
I’m sorry to see the car go after a very short time but my circumstances have changed. What I particularly like is that it is so beautifully presented.
