129k miles.
MOT until 27th June 2025 (6K done in 2023 & 2k done in 2022). 20 miles done since June MOT.
MOT is advisory free aside from the obligatory rear engine oil leak :-)
My pride & joy but alas I need to sell. It has been lavished by the last few owners (me included) & it is in fantastic shape.
• Good service history but not completely full.
• It is due a service & I will do this before sale.
• Wallet full of invoices from last few years. Most of which in the last 3 years – over £5k in last few years.
She does not lose oil or use any. Temperature is perfect. No engine warning lights.
I have owned lots of Jags. This is my second S-Type. Jag S-Types are prone to rot on arches & sills, as well as having gearbox issues & known for being heavy on suspensions components.
All problems parts have been addressed including sills being restored. Gearbox fully serviced.
Car is fully undersealed.
A good low mileage brake servo has been fitted recently (from Japan – no rust!). The old one is included for refurbishment – they are a rare part for this model.

There are no dinks / dents or door marks. The wheels are mint with no kerbing. It is mint.

2 x keys (individually programmable to different driver settings for seat, mirrors, steering column)
I have fitted a Pure DAB radio – this works for handsfree calls & Bluetooth music streaming.
Bad Bits:
• Arches have been welded & sprayed. Not an excellent job but fine. One arch is a little crazed. I have attached pictures of arches - these are warts & all.
• The head lining has 3 pins near the rear screen, as it started to droop.
• The tracking is out due to new bottom arm for MOT.
• Ticks over a little quick when started on a cold morning. Fine after 30 seconds of running & the auto choke cuts out. May be a dicky MAF sensor - perhaps just a clean would sort it. It causes no problems as I don't drive on a cold engine - just being honest.
• Few marks on driver seat - being really picky
My Jag is in superb condition for a 20 year old. I frequently come back to it & find people taking photos. (Once there was 3 ballerinas using it as a bar for an Instagram promo - tutus & all!)
Lets be fair – it is higher mileage but what I call a useable classic. It will take you anywhere.
This car needs a hobbyist owner. I don’t have the time at the moment & a lovely car is going to waste.
Reasonable on fuel - expect late 30s on a run, around 18mpg in town.
My next job on list was to have the manifold off & replace the vacuum lines. Perhaps the IMT seals & a nice new manifold gasket. It doesn’t need this work, but I notice it hasn’t been done yet in the history file. It is that sort of car.
It is very easy to work on – everything is so clean! You don’t even have to jack this car up to change the oil.
It is a black petrol Sport with XS body kit, & a sunroof. Looking for a loving owner. Open to offers but in no hurry. I am always open to a chat.
