Lloyd 650cc 2-Stroke Motorcar
This is one very RARE example

First registered 20th Jan 1950
Having the original cardboard 'Registration Book'
Although the prototype emerged in 1947 with the first example produced on the 27th February 1948
British built in Grimsby by Lloyd cars ltd
Lloyd cars produced 2 versions the 350cc and then later the 650cc
This being build number:2P307
Only 283 examples of the 650cc were produced
Having a full Aluminium body which overalls in very good condition considering
its over 70yrs old
The vehicle does run from the key and drives a testament to the engineering back in the day
Overall it requires a little TLC
Internally the roof frames there but no hood cover
Side windows are also present but require fixing into place
As you can see from the images the interiors very minimal but all there
There's just a handful left and being very Unique and a historic example the values only going one way
Twin cylinder alloy units mounted transversely at the front drives the front wheels
Through a 4-speed gearbox with synchromesh on all speeds
Independent suspension all round
This particular example comes with a lot of heritage in the form of the original
Fuel ration/ registration card dictating the ownership through the years along with original stamps
Reims of original workshop documents on every part of the vehicle
Along with internal diagrams of the engine
A little bit like a modern Haynes manual
Basically a workshop manual of back in the day
Along with numerous wiring diagrams of the vehicles electrics
'Lloyd Cars' header engineer documents simply amazing the level of provenance contained
You would be hard pressed to find this level of historic detail today
This is a piece of British History without question
A rare unique vehicle that will not take a lot to put it back to its former glory
Additionally there's a pallet full of spares including engine blocks and various engine parts
These you simply cannot source due to them not being available

Overall a more than useable Classic which has plenty more years left in it
And deserves to be preserved for many more years to come
