1964 Wolseley 1500 - Useable Rat Look/ Oily Rag Classic Project
Hi and welcome to the listing for my charming Wolseley 1500.
Rubbed down rough and ready paint appearance in shades of red over cream, you will either love it or hate it, I quite like it. It's been coated in linseed oil in order to help maintain this look.
In good running order. The engine starts up without hesitation and sounds lovely.
It has benefited from quite a bit of work and parts recently including: new brakes, cylinder and pipes, new battery, new wiring, new ignition parts, new carpets.
Still wearing it's original registration which is transferrable.
As a 60 year old classic, there may be things tinker with, some things I have noticed that will need looking at: bonnet pull does not work so will require new cable, fuel and temp gauges not working.
All in all, a solid classic with a great patina and one that you can use whilst you improve.
Will come with some invoices for parts purchased/ work done, as well as a Haynes workshop manual.
