Description
Lovely solid example having had a full upper body and mechanical restoration in 1994.
The interior was left original which although show signs of age and wear it has a lovely patina and smell reminiscence of the 1950s.
The chassis is in wonderful condition with good jacking points , spring hangers and sills.
The upper body is all solid metal with a deep shine , she is showing her age in places some micro blistering due to poor storage using blankets over the years.
She comes with her original starting handle , jack ! A replacement wheel brace , the spare wheel is in good order.
The boot has been marine ply lined and covered in leather while the boot floor it’s self and spare wheel well are all in good solid condition no rust issues.
There is a custom made tool box for those classic car road side repairs and contains many handy things to get you out of trouble.
Also included is a handy battery charger and a Wolseley fire blanket! And she is positive earth running on the original dynamo set up.
There is also a beautiful leather covered shield showing some awards the car has won over the years including some beautiful Brass badge plates .
Also included in the sale is an original 1953 news paper found during restoration work along with a green shield stamp book , work shop manual lots of history.
She starts up easily with good oil pressure and a very smooth gear change the brakes are adequate.
It should be noted the Wolseley has not been used in the last two years and a thorough check over is advised before using on the road.
However the fuel tank has just been drained and cleaned with fresh fuel and new fuel lines.
All in all a lovely old car with reasonable bright work not perfect but a good honest example of a 73-year-old Classic Car.
