HONDA CB 550 FOUR supersport [Available until add Removed]

Honda 550 four super sport registered 1978 mot and tax exempt .
      Historic vehicle taxation class on V5 in my name
I was offered the opportunity to buy this 550 four it came from an elderly gentleman , he'd owned it for 38 years , and had decided his riding days were in the past .
My wife had previously owned a Honda 400 four back in the 80s
and feeling nostalgic thought it would be nice to relive her past ,
so it ticked all the boxes i thought ,
She feels this bike is a little heavier and higher compared to the 400 four , hence change of direction and sale .
Recently had fresh fuel, oil and filter , the bike started no problem idles runs and rides ok .
The bike would make an easy restoration should you want to go down that route which was my intention .
i started with paintwork (Tank , Side panels) , they have been professionally restored to very high standard at significant cost , a good start to a full restoration .
The rest of the bike has not been restored but is clean , tidy and useable as is . Maybe light recommissioning of the carburettors . However previous owner did say he'd had the carbs cleaned and serviced .
