For sale, my very rare, very special, very stunning and very immaculate 2002 Mercedes SLK320 R170 V6 ‘Designo’ Automatic Convertible in gorgeous Brilliant Metallic Silver with Nappa leather ‘Designo’ interior with Light Grey Nappa leather seats, Grey/ Black interior, steering wheel, auto Gear Stick, in seriously immaculate condition and a very unique car, I have not seen another R170 SLK with this colour combination or spec and one of the best R170 V6 SLKs in the UK and beyond.
Powered by the famous bullet proof Mercedes M112-947 V6 engine the car simply purrs along, extremely smooth and very nippy and quick when you need it to be with the choice of sport or economy drive with a good 38 MPG on a long run so pretty economical for a V6.
Very low mileage, currently at 46700 miles (that’s about 2600 miles per year), in superb condition, drives tight and smooth through the auto gearbox, body paintwork is almost as new, hard to believe for a car this age, interior is immaculate, engine bay is spotless, unmarked wheels, the roof operation is smooth, perfect and water tight, the seals treated with Gummi-Pledge to ensure flexibility and sealing and moving parts with Lithium grease.

A stunning, classy, timeless car and becoming a big collector’s item especially with this mileage and condition, SLK R170 V6 cars in this condition, mileage, spec and history can go for £8-10k on mainland UK and twice that in Europe, that’s the joy with this type of car, the older it gets and kept in great condition the price will stay roughly the same or in most cases appreciates, it’s a pre-2006 car so the lower tax bracket, a car for the enthusiast or someone that’s looking for something a little different and will not drop in price like most convertibles.
