Welcome to the regrettable sale of my much loved Defender 90 TD5 County. I purchased the vehicle on 27/ 10/ 2017 and have used it sparingly as a 2nd car, mainly used for shoot days and light Green-lanning . There has been three former keepers, the person I bought it from purchased in April 2009. The vehicle has full service history with Land Rover until 2016 and then in my ownership I have in-trusted Foley Specialist Vehicles LTD who have a fantastic reputation with these vehicles. In my ownership I have continued to enhance and improve the vehicle without taking away from the original Defender experience!
Improvements undertaken;
• Wipac Led Headlights and all other external lights upgraded to LED while still keeping original factory orange indicators.
• Extreme Dinitrol Rust Prevention by CSK Automotive.
• MUD extended seats rails driver side ( I am 6’2 so these where essential)
• Syncro Gearboxes’ Slickshift
• Alli Sport EGR removal kit.
• De-cat pipe.
• Terrafirma 30mm wheel spacers.
• Terrafirma Snow Cowel.
• Interior sound deadening added.
• LRD security bolt set, Wingtop bonnet release cable guard, Bomb proof door hinge security kit, bonnet release cable guard.
• Rear door stay kit.
• Martec Snorkel
• ORE Spare wheel carrier mounted to rear cross member.
• ORE Front steering guard.
Rear crossmember is good and solid however could do with being re- painted as there is some light surface rust appearing again.
Passenger side door and rear quarter panel have a light dent which I have imaged.
Rear tub capping has some minor surface rust that could do with painting to make perfect.
One of the rear seats has been removed at some point which needs replacing, however all seats belts are still fitted as a factory 6 seater.
The mileage has increased slightly now and is now showing 60, 029, will rise slightly until sold. Service History;
