Hi and welcome to the listing for my MK1 Ford Cortina.
Presenting well in striking two-tone yellow and black combination with a matching custom interior, the car has been subject to extensive restoration in the last couple of years since import to the UK.
Originally a South African car, it has benefited from the drier climate and is solid underneath as a result.
Running a 1600 crossflow, the engine starts up without fuss and runs well, sounds great too with the twin 40 Weber carbs and custom exhaust setup.
Inside the colour scheme is continued and has been nicely trimmed and fitted out with black leather seats with yellow stitching, matching door cards, body-colour dash. It also has installed an accoutrement of gauges, push button starter, and media system.
Overall an eye-catching example of Ford's popular model, and one that is ready to be used and enjoyed.
