For sale my 1982 Porsche 924 turbo S2, Running and Driving.
Now MOT, Tax and Ulez exempt.
Very interesting car with a few desirable extras like: sport seats, alarm, AC, special metallic paint…
HPI clear.
Got full service history for it all from Oficial Porsche Centers and Porsche specialists since 1982. Car is currently on around 68k miles and if I don’t remeber wrong it had around 5 owners.
Recently it’s been tuned by BHPerformace and pushed a very healthy 169hp and 230nm of torque, car is completely stock. Compression test was performed and engine is very very healthy ( pictures available to prove, can send on request) , also smoke tested and no air leaks were found. Fuel pressures were also measured and all on spec.
This car had a ton of work done to it in the past couple years, it was a barn find a few years ago ( was sitting in a hangar since 1989 until around 2022 when the restoration started ) and it’s been under restoration since then.
Some of the work carried out includes:
-Complete suspension, brakes and steering system overhaul with brand new Porsche parts, including all bushes, bolts, brackets.. steering rack refurbed, new shocks all around, calipers rebuilt, pads, disks, brake flexy hoses and lines... basically everything is new or been threated and powder coated professionally or zink platted.
- all brake and fuel lines replaced
- fuel tank refurbed, new accumulator, new fuel pumps ( both brand new, including the Intank pump from Porsche), Warm up regulator rebuilt and made adjustable, new injectors…
- ignition refresh with new plugs, leads, distributor cap, rotor, ICM module…
- fresh service including timing belt, oil and filter, K&N brand new air filter…
- fully refurbed turbo and waste gate, new starter motor, refurbed alternator…
- New clutch kit, slave and master cylinder also replaced, RMS replaced too including new hardware.
- torque tube and most suspension and steering components been powdered coated
- shell was dry ice blasted and looks super clean underneath
- fully refurbed 928 wheels with brand new tyres all around.
- new radiator and various coolant and vacuum hoses…
- all interior carpets been replaced so they are all brand new
- boost gauge installed
And the list goes on and on… loads and loads of brand new parts, i do have a massive invoice with all parts replaced and work been done to it.
Been daily driving it for a couple weeks doing 80 miles a day but now winter is here so it’s back to storage. There’s a few jobs still left to do on it, like AC currently working, dash is is cracked, headlining at the rear is split on both corners, and got an oil leak from turbo oil feed line ( suspected o'ring or gasket needs replacing) and some other minor jobs, also mention that paint match on bonnet and wings are poor… but give me a call and we can discuss this better. Tried princing taking into account all these, all hard work been already done to it, just needs finishing. No other 924 turbo for sale in this spec, very rare car, specially in this configuration.
