BMW - Alpina 3. 0cs 1976 Manual 5 speed.
This stunning BMW 3. 0cs that was in excellent original condition throughout has been transformed / re-built into the most iconic Alpina 3. 0cs.
It was built using only genuine Alpina parts regardless of cost, with the exception of the wheels, which are one off made by a specialist wheel company in Japan. All parts are genuine and purchased from Nicole Automobiles in Japan, the main Alpina dealership. There are no replica parts.
It has been built to the highest standards both in parts / perfection and mainly the love of Alpina cars! The owner has more knowledge of Alpina cars than anyone I’ve ever met. Some years ago Mr Burkard Bovensiepen came to Japan and visited him!
The front spoiler in particular is a special part that was made from a mould at the time when the owner visited Alpina's headquarters in Germany. It was made by the 75 year-old aero parts manager, who convinced the owner that it was absolutely essential in order to recreate the Alpina 3. 0cs as it would have been originally from Alpina.
Build specification:
The engine upgrade’s.
1) The engine: B9/ 3. 5 which like the M series engine used 93. 4 mm Mahle pistons.
2) The cylinder head: Supplied new and complete from Alpina.
3) ECU / Injection system: Upgraded to the E12 M535i system and approved by Nicole Alpina Japan.
4) Gearbox: Fully overhauled B9/ 3. 5 5speed.
5) Propshaft / Clutch: Are from Alpina E12 B7 Turbo
6) Suspension: A complete suspension kit was also purchased from Alpina.
7) Brakes: Front and Rear discs. The front being are Alpina’s custom made aluminium housing 2-piece vented rotors 4 pot.
8) Recently a custom made radiator was changed to an all aluminium type to increase cooling efficiency.
Interior:
Completely re-upholstered in beige leather with Recaro seats as per the original Alpina version.
The steering wheel / shift knob and foot rest where also replace with genuine Alpina parts from the 70’s.
Since the rebuild it has only traveled 4, 000Kms.
The owner has many other Alpina’s and has now decided its time to let this beautiful and stunning Alpina be enjoyed by another classic Alpina enthusiast.
I don’t think its possible to find another 3. 0cs like this that has had the modifications made to it to level that this one has anywhere.
As Alpina will sadly be coming to a closure this year and BMW take it over the rarity of genuine parts to be able to complete a transformation of the caliber will be impossible. The owner has been collecting original Alpina parts for over 40 years through Nicole Alpina Japan. The value of these classic Alpina’s will increase further as the years go by and excellent condition vehicles like this will be sort after by collectors around the world.

I have been importing / exporting in Japan for nearly 30 years so I will arrange all exporting duties / transportation / customs clearance / container or Ro/ Ro shipping as required. All fees involved with exporting are included in the cost of the vehicle except sea freight, which will be at the buyers expense.
