The car is very standard with modifications limited to the full Front Runner alloy roof-rack, and a 12v socket in the back. We have the ladder for the roof-rack but never got round to fitting it.
From the MOT history, the sidesteps and front bumper, and the prop shaft joint were all replaced and the car has never had any bodywork / paint work.
The wing mirror arms are scruffy, and we have lost a rear seat headrest. The Air Conditioning doesn't blow cold, but the Heater is epic compared with earlier DefendersWe bought it new in March 2011 as a family estate and school run car and have a folder full of history and invoices.
It has had overmats and front seat covers fitted from new
We had the chassis sprayed with rust preventer by Frogs Island 4x4 when the car was brand new and again by Nene Overland in 2017.
In 2019 it had the transfer box spline shaft sorted.
Newbury 4x4 replaced the engine with a new Land Rover one at 156, 232 miles - the timing chain snapped on the old one. The new engine was fitted with new Denso injectors, new clutch assembly, slave cylinder plus a new radiator and thermostat.
