This is an original Trans am Special edition Y82 with WS6 power upgrade, with Hurst 'T' Tops, comes with original build paperwork and the identification plate to confirm. I imported this vehicle in 2015, I bought it from Trans Am Specialities of Florida. It has had much work since my ownership, including new poly bush kit for the suspension and front Chassis mounts which are all fitted, new seat covers which are partially fitted and new floor pans which are all fitted. This car is a '78 so 47 years old. I believe it has its original paint and decal set but not sure. The original 6. 6 v8 engine is as smooth as silk and starts on the button. The 3 speed auto works well and changes gear as it should. there is a complete new stainless exhaust system including headers. New rear leaf springs, front springs and shockers all round. The electric windows are slow and need attention. The 'T' Tops leak as they all do. fyi It will come with a new 12 months MOT even though it doesn't need it, its also tax exempt. I have spent so much time on and money on parts. The petrol tank was removed and the whole underside wax oiled by a specialist.

You have to remember this is 47 years old, sat on leaf springs designed in the early 60's. This is a solid car that would not need too much to take it to the next level. There are signs of surface rust hear and there but no holes or structural issuesIf you love Burt Reynolds you will love this, I went to Caffine and machine a few years ago and everyone loved it!!!! Every where you go it gets SO much attention.
