Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4. 0L, 6-cylinder petrol, Portuguese car from new, and from 1997.
It has around 245, 000 km and has had the same owner for at least 16 years.
It has been garage-kept for most of its life, never used for off-roading, and is relatively well preserved both inside and out — no rust or corrosion.
The 6-cylinder engine is strong and robust, runs without any issues.
It has been parked for about 6 years, at least since 2018/ 2019. It's being sold due to lack of use and because there are other ongoing projects.
It has a valid MOT (IPO) until 01/ 2025 and active insurance under a pre-classic category.
The Jeep comes with all manuals (including the second set of keys).
Around €2200 has been spent on it, with documentation to prove it, and the following was done:
General service – oil, filters, and belts replaced
Coolant fluid replaced
Gear oil replaced
Front ball joint kits replaced
All steering tie rods replaced
Complete panhard rod replaced
Front suspension bump stops replaced
Lower suspension arms replaced
Reinforced rear universal joints replaced
Wheel alignment performed
New TUDOR battery installed

As far as I remember, that’s everything — and it's all working.
Negative points:
It was repainted around 4 years ago — I honestly don’t remember exactly, but it was recent. However, it had a front bump, so the front bumper and, I believe, the rear right door need attention.
It needs a good interior cleaning and detailing.
There’s very little left to do — great for an enthusiast. A future classic, fun to drive, and very comfortable.
Annual road tax (IUC) is about €500 due in August 2025, but insurance is under €100 due to the pre-classic status.
In August 2027, when it turns 30 years old, it can be certified by ACP Clássicos to request IUC exemption.
Fuel consumption is around 12–14L combined.
