Description

MOTO GUZZI V7 SPORT TUNING REPARTO CORSE

For sale: an exclusive and rare sports motorcycle built in Mandello del Lario in December 1972 and owned until 2020 by its sole proprietor, who worked for 15 years in Moto Guzzi's Racing Department.

The bike, soon after purchase, underwent a special mechanical overhaul inside the “Reparto Corse” overseen by the owner and on the suggestion of engineer Lino Tonti.

Straight-cut gear distribution, heads worked with enlarged intake and exhaust valves, cylinders and pistons increased displacement to 800 cc, pair of 38 mm PHM carburettors, aluminium cooling spacer milled from solid to raise the oil sump to 5 litres, connecting rods and crankshaft polished and balanced, lightened flywheel, 40 mm exhaust tubes, Lafranconi Competition silencers, Koni Performance dampers.

Verbal testimony from the ex-owner's wife described a top speed well above 230 km/ h.

Bodywork with the tank and side panels in pristine condition, showing only minor signs of wear. Metallised burgundy paint, running gear with a gloss black frame. Front and rear tyres newly fitted.

Original registration plate, booklet and complementary sheet from the first registration. Documents in order, ready for transfer of ownership or export.
