Description
For sale is an absolutely rare collector's item of British automotive history, owned by our family for three generations and lovingly cared for, last restored frame-off in 2018, the natural patina was left intact. The classic car is technically in very good condition, roadworthy without any problems and recognised in Austria as a historic vehicle (individual permit M1 historic), with § 57a sticker until June 2025. The vehicle was driven every summer for short distances until recently. For reasons of space, our beloved classic car must now change hands, which is why we are looking for a new owner with a passion for collecting British cars. SUNBEAM TALBOT BA10 SPORTS TOURER CABRIOLET, built in 1935, Whittingsham & Mitchell Great Britain four-cylinder, capacity 1185 cc, 40 hp/ 29 kW, colour British Racing Green, black soft top, registered in the Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register No. S. 233. F since 31. 3. 1995. (- details above) This classic car is also a rarity because the British engine manufacturer Sunbeam-Talbot Limited no longer exists. Details of the very interesting company history can be found on Wikipedia (- details above), the name Talbot does not primarily suggest a British manufacturer.
