Welcome to the advert for this gorgeous Volvo V70 Ocean Race.
To celebrate the around the world Volvo Ocean Race sailing race, Volvo introduced 'Volvo Ocean Race editions' of the XC90, XC70 and V70 for the 2006 model year.
The Volvo Ocean Race edition models were be the official cars of the race at each of the race's nine stopover ports around the world.
Exterior and Interior design:
A unique Ocean Blue pearlescent paint immediately differentiates the Volvo Ocean Race edition models. Their appearance is also enhanced with 'Electric Silver' coloured side door mouldings, brushed aluminium roof rails, and special Volvo Ocean Race badges, key ring and tread plates on the door sills. Compared to the equivalent standard 'SE' models.
Naturally, the interiors are also distinctive, with unique 'Ocean Blue' aluminium inlays.
This car has been imported from Japan by myself at Origin Japan. It has been converted entirely to UK spec, converted to MPH and miles on the odometer. All menus have been converted to English and the radio to UK frequencies.
The car has been fully serviced, MOTd and UK registered and is ready to go for it's new owner. The wheels have also been refurbished in the original metallic silver with Dunlop tyres all round.
This is the third of these Ocean Race V70s I have sold, and this one has some extras the others were lacking. The rear V70R inspired spoiler really sets the back end off and gives a sporty look, while the electric glass sunroof adds light and air to the cabin. The car also has factory front fog lights which neither of the other cars had.
This car has also got a huge amount of history from Japan showing it's been looked after to a high standard.
This car is a lovely example of a V70 with the super reliable 2. 4 5 cylinder petrol engine which has done barely any miles. This car is ready to give it's new keeper many happy and reliable miles. Lots of history from Japan including cambelt change
